Bring a 3D printing Design and Technology curriculum to your classroom.

Kideville enables children to acquire design and technology skills through an innovative teaching method.

Design Process

Our curriculum helps you guide your students though the design process, accompanied by curated material and fun activities. These tasks guide learners from a research phase, to simple sketching, to understanding shapes and proportions, and finally modeling the final product.
There are a total of 8 sessions in the design process to be unraveled to finally complete a construction task.

Comprehensive Curriculum

3D printing can be a hard subject to teach, but it is a crucial one to sustain the quality of British education. Our curriculum kit has been academically studied and used by children for years so you don't make mistakes in developing yours.
We are delivering the value of years of on-site academic research, and the security of an effective teaching plan, all into a purchasable kit.

This is a collaborative project. Both teachers and students are involved in the creation of the KIDEVILLE island and settle upon its shores together.
Up to 36 children will develop an affection for the island as they design their homes on it, and then gather to provide the island with the facilities required to be built. Agreements are to be reached to decide where to place the structures: this encourages children to discuss and share ideas on how the town settlement is to be planned.

KIDEVILLE  is a tested process through which children are encouraged to learn and experiment with 3D CAD modelling.

Our product makes it easier and more effective for teachers to deliver 3D CAD computer lessons.

Over 1,000 kids have already learned 3D CAD through KIDEVILLE. They find themselves to rekindle the physical and digital world though making, successfully learning the value of computer aided design.

5 years of experience have gone into creating KIDEVILLE's learning process. Through workshops carried out internationally, our team has learned what motivates children to experiment with D&T equipment and what experiences stand out in their memories.
There is prepared material included for you to carry out 12 effective lessons without investing hours into preparation. Our lessons were designed by academics and tested with children between the ages of 6 and 14.

How do we enable a better learning process?

Kideville begins with a board representing an ocean.

An island is crowd-formed, setting a stage for making, as well as obstacles.

Children design their residential houses and settle on the island.

They are introduced to a town planning brief.

Research begins on their building.

Followed by lessons on sketching.

CAD Modeling.

And finally building on the island through  3D printing.
