It’s all about the children at Kidesign, an ed-tech startup aimed at building educational kits and bringing 3D printing into school curricula.

Alberto Rizzoli and Dejan Mitrovic say they decided to turn the workshops they ran for 4 years into scalable projects that would allow teachers to build a kit composed of a term-long series of lessons.

Kideville Aimed at Bringing 3D Printing and Urban Planning Skills to Students

Kideville is a project by Kidesign that lets kids build and 3D print a model city.  To introduce a new version of their interactive and fun educational project, Dejan Mitrovic & Alberto Rizzoli we’re at the Bettshow the leading trade show for technology & education.  Kideville are YouMagine community members and Ronald caught up with them to see how they were doing and how they wanted to help kids learn through 3D printing.

Excited Educator

Kidesign3D have designed a fantastic curriculum pack to help students use a 3D printer in a meaningful way and to enable collaboration across your whole class! Students are given cards describing the building they have to create, then build it, print it and then as a class they plan out their town.
